Evolution Aqua PURE Pond contains beneficial bacteria and natural enzymes that help maintain clear, healthy pond water. The biodegradable gel balls slowly release bacteria into your pond, where they help break down organic waste, ammonia and nitrite.
PURE Pond works particularly well when you place the balls inside your biological filter. Regular use helps maintain a stable biological environment and supports the natural nitrogen cycle within your pond.

Supports Healthy Pond Water
PURE Pond helps maintain the biological balance that your koi pond needs. The beneficial bacteria break down ammonia and nitrite, while the natural enzymes help process organic waste.
As a result, regular use can help maintain clear, healthy water and reduce the amount of maintenance your filtration system requires.
Easy Monthly Dosing
Evolution Aqua recommends adding PURE Pond balls once a month to maintain biological equilibrium and help keep pond water clear. For best results, use the product when the water temperature stays above 10°C.
Place the balls directly into the biological chamber of your filter, ideally inside a filter bag. The bacteria then work alongside your existing biological media.
Available Sizes
PURE Pond comes in three sizes to suit different pond volumes:
- 500ml: Treats ponds up to 10,000 litres
- 1 litre: Treats ponds up to 20,000 litres
- 2 litres: Treats ponds up to 40,000 litres
Choose the size that matches your pond volume and follow the manufacturer’s dosing guidance.
PURE Pond for Koi Ponds
PURE Pond provides a simple way to support biological filtration in koi ponds. The beneficial bacteria help manage ammonia and nitrite, while the enzymes help break down organic waste.
However, PURE Pond does not clear green water. If green water affects your pond, Evolution Aqua recommends using an appropriate UVC system to address the problem.
