At the heart of the system is Red Label’s patented drum sealing system, combined with a 120-micron stainless-steel drum screen, automatic cleaning system and double-brush waste-channel design.
Professional Red Label Drum Filtration
The Red Label 50/60 PLUS ESSENTIAL uses a 120-micron stainless-steel drum screen to mechanically remove suspended solids from pond water before the water enters the biological filtration chambers.
As debris accumulates on the screen, the automatic cleaning system activates the drum cleaning cycle. Waste removed from the screen is directed into the dedicated 110 mm waste outlet.
A built-in Q800103 flushing pump forms part of the automatic cleaning system.
Removing suspended solids at the mechanical filtration stage considerably reduces the amount of solid waste reaching the biological filtration section.
