Takazumi Junior Premium uses small 2mm pellets that suit the mouths of young koi. The pellets include both floating and sinking food, encouraging juvenile koi to feed at different levels within the pond.
This combination also makes it easier to observe young koi while they feed. You can therefore monitor their appetite and make sure smaller fish receive sufficient nutrition.
Feeding Takazumi Junior Premium
Feed Takazumi Junior Premium when your pond water reaches temperatures above 10°C. Young koi benefit from several small feeds throughout the day rather than one large feeding.
Give your koi small quantities at a time and adjust the amount according to their appetite and activity. Remove any uneaten food to help maintain good pond water quality.
Vitamins and Minerals
Takazumi Junior Premium contains a range of vitamins and minerals to support the nutritional needs of developing koi. The formula includes vitamins A, D3, E and stabilised vitamin C, together with B vitamins, biotin and choline.
The food also contains selected natural minerals, amino acids and trace elements to provide a balanced diet for juvenile koi.
