Takazumi Easy Mix Koi Food is a well-balanced sinking koi food formulated to provide essential nutrition while supporting healthy development and natural colouration. With 33% protein and 6% oils and fats, this professional feed is ideal for less active koi that prefer to feed in the deeper parts of the pond.
Its sinking pellets allow koi to feed at different depths, making it a useful choice for fish that are less competitive when food is scattered across the water’s surface.
Balanced Nutrition for Healthy Koi
Takazumi Easy Mix provides a blend of carefully selected ingredients, vitamins and minerals to support a healthy koi diet. Its medium protein and low fat content make it a versatile option for routine feeding when water temperatures and koi activity levels are suitable.
The formulation also supports natural colouration, helping you maintain attractive, healthy-looking koi as part of a balanced feeding routine.
Sinking Pellets for Less Active Koi
Unlike floating koi food, Takazumi Easy Mix sinks into the water. This allows less active fish to feed without having to compete as strongly with more enthusiastic koi at the surface.
It is particularly useful for koi that prefer to feed in the deeper areas of the pond or are slower to reach floating pellets.
Suitable for All-Season Feeding
Takazumi Easy Mix can be used throughout the year when feeding conditions are appropriate. Its sinking characteristics and relatively low fat content also make it an option for cooler weather.
During colder months, adjust feeding to suit the water temperature and your koi’s activity. Stop feeding when the water temperature reaches 4°C or below.
High-Quality Ingredients for Pond Water Quality
Takazumi uses carefully selected ingredients to provide digestible nutrition. Good digestibility helps koi utilise their food efficiently, reducing unnecessary waste and helping to limit the burden on your pond’s filtration system.
As with any koi food, feed an appropriate quantity and remove uneaten food to help maintain good water quality.
